Season 2 appeared on the horizon with the Series A RedStone fundraising announcement. It introduces many changes and improvements, bringing even more fun and opportunities for Miners.

Key elements of the RedStone Expedition
RedStone Gems: The Heart of the Expedition
RSG (RedStone Gems) are an essential part of the Expedition. They are activity points entirely stored on the Arweave blockchain. Every part of a user’s transaction history, point calculations, and verification of the RSG points system is securely kept on the Arweave blockchain using Warp Contracts SDK technology.
These gems are super important in the final stages of the Expedition. They are used as a universal way to measure how engaged participants are, and they help in giving out rewards fairly to users based on their involvement.
Dashboard: Your Expedition Tracker
A unique dashboard is available to help you keep track of your progress during the Expedition. You can log in using your Metamask wallet.
Once logged in, the dashboard shows your current RSG status, recent points earned, and any active boosts and essential roles you have. It’s the heart of the Expedition, a central hub where you can find all vital information.
Remember to connect your Discord account to earn points for being active on the RedStone server. You can do this easily with the help of the Warpy bot.
Warpy: Bridging Discord and Blockchain
Warpy is a part of the Warp Contracts project and helps track activity on the Discord server. You need to connect your EVM address to your account to earn points for your Discord activities. If you do, your wallet will receive points. Here’s how to do it:
- Join the RedStone server on Discord.
- Find the channel named Warpy.
- Connect your wallet by using the /linkwallet command.
Roles: achievement badge
Unique roles play a crucial function. They recognize people who are active and contribute to the community. Some provide a notable boost during Expedition and RSG; some are essential badges. In the Community Guidebook, you will find a list of current roles relevant to the Expedition.
Remember: Roles were never as important as now, try to collect as many of them as possible
How can RSG be earned?
On-Chain Tasks
Engage in unique campaigns crafted in collaboration with RedStone partners, where completing specific actions, such as interacting with designated dApps, can yield significant RSG point rewards. These tasks stand out as the most lucrative opportunities within the Expedition.
Content Creation
RedStone highly values creative contributions from its community. By producing content and participating in designated activities on the RedStone Discord server, such as the Weekly Best Content or the Hall of Fame, creators can receive generous RSG point rewards, recognizing their creative efforts.
Ambassadorship
For those deeply invested in the RedStone community, becoming an ambassador opens doors to additional RSG rewards. In particular, at the Vein Master Ambassador level and above, ambassadors are presented with numerous opportunities to enhance their RSG holdings monthly passively.
Community Engagement
Active participation in the RedStone community is highly encouraged and rewarded. Engaging in various activities, from Community Calls to unique server games or even contributing to discussions, can earn members RSG points, fostering a vibrant and interactive community atmosphere.
Roles Collector
An additional RSG award is given for some roles. This is on a one-off basis or, in the case of higher ambassador or moderator roles, monthly.
Special boosts
In the RedStone Expedition, you can boost your point earnings through point multipliers linked to specific ranks you achieve by engaging in various activities. These multipliers apply to on-chain tasks, enhancing the points you earn from these actions. What changes does Season 2 introduce?
Upgraded Dashboard
The dashboard has undergone a metamorphosis. Changes have been made, such as:
- onboarding of new users
- banner with current activities
- marking points in millions
- display of the number of significant roles
New RSG points breakdown
Below is a table with the allocation of RSG to specific activities:
New way of scoring on-chain quests
From now on, each campaign that allows RSG to be earned through on-chain activity will cap the number of points awarded to participants. This means that participants will compete against each other for a set RSG cap. The value they receive will depend on the size of their pool share. This is calculated by the amount of money a participant has allocated and the size of the multiplier they have by owning a role with boosts.
What about early participants?
At the end of the Expedition, we’ll introduce a special point multiplier for specific periods of gem gathering.
New Roles
New roles, such as Professor, Veteran, Local Miner, Evangelist, and Mentor, have been introduced. Each is obtainable in a unique way. Read more about the roles in Expedition in the Community Guidebook.
